Event Volunteers

Crusaid organises a number of fundraising events throughout the year and we are always interested in finding individuals and groups that would like to volunteer.

Crusaid's Walk for Life is our single biggest annual fundraising event and the largest sponsored walk for HIV and AIDS in Europe. This is a very large operation and we need volunteers in various roles both at the event village at Potters Fields Park near Tower Bridge and along the 10km route. Positions include carrying out walker registrations, helping out backstage with the live entertainment, holding a distance marker and encouraging walkers along the route and also looking after our celebrity walkers and guests.

We need over 100 volunteers for this opportunity so please pass this on to friends, family, colleagues and anyone else you think might be able to help out.

When: Sunday 6th June 2010
Where: Potters Fields Park , London SE1 and along the route through central London
Time: We will need volunteers at various times of day from about 9AM until around 6.30PM although this will be broken into shorter shifts.
Provided: Snacks & refreshments plus travel expenses (within London Travelcard zones).
