Crusaid works in the UK and internationally to improve the lives of people affected by HIV and AIDS and to prevent the spread of the virus.
We do this by:
- Helping people struggling with poverty in the UK through the Crusaid Hardship Fund
- Funding information, education projects and services that help people living with HIV through our UK projects
- Making grants to organisations providing life-saving treatment, education and support through our African projects
- And funding the search for better treatments through Research
Crusaid’s international funding is currently focussed on Africa. By funding innovative, community-based projects we are able to lay the foundations to long term change. For example a rundown railway station in Sir Lowry’s Pass, east of Cape Town has been turned into a centre where 300 people a day – including many children orphaned by AIDS – come to eat, wash and get emotional and practical support.
"Life is so much easier to live knowing there are some people out there who care enough to help me" - Grace
If you'd like to help us continue this life-saving work and reach more people living with HIV and AIDS, please make a donation today.
